November 8, 2025 is the last day for most states to comment. We ask that if you have not already sent your comment letter, you do so today.
We are in the final stretch of our call to action on the proposed LCD for peripheral nerve blocks and pain procedures. ASIPP has been sending you messages regarding these disastrous changes. If not reversed, these changes will be devastating for the specialty of IPM and patient care.
ASIPP sent our comment letter on behalf of the society and our members. It is critical that you take the time to send a comment letter to your respective Medicare Administrator Contractor (MAC). We cannot stress strongly enough the importance of your action on this matter. Even if you signed the ASIPP petition (which has almost 1700 signatures) you are still urged to send an your personal comment. Also, all state societies should send a comment letter on behalf of the state members. Click here for a sample letter for state societies.
