BREAKING NEWS: THANKS TO THE TIRELESS EFFORTS OF ASIPP, TELEHEALTH PROVISIONS HAVE NOW BEEN EXTENDED FOR AN ADDITIONAL 6 MONTHS
ASIPP’s extensive advocacy efforts, we successfully included language in the continuing resolution to fund the government through September. This resolution extends telehealth provisions for another 6 months.
While this is a temporary measure, our focus remains on securing a long-term solution. Many members of Congress and the Senate are advocating for a more permanent extension, ideally lasting 5 to 6 years or longer. ASIPP will continue pushing for this critical advancement.
The bill passed in the House on Wednesday while the ASIPP group was still on Capitol Hill and is awaiting Senate approval.
